BAY Centre roof update

Thanks to the generosity of Burnham and Highbridge Council who gave us a grant of £2,500, plus Sedgemoor District Council who contributed the amount of £1,500, those wonderful guys at Kiwi Flat Roofing have now completed enhancement of the BAY Centre’s upper roof, which was not yet leaking but showing signs of deterioration.

BAY Chair Mike Lang says; ‘We also received an anonymous donation and carried out some minor fundraising ourselves. Our committee have many large and small projects in mind, including a plan to replace our elderly lighting with modern LED units, for which we have a outstanding grant application. We operate the BAY Centre as a community resource, and our operating costs are met by rent from the various groups using the building
